Aloha Performing Arts Company will offer "Sleepy Hollow," a fall break production workshop for 8-12 year olds October 6 through 11, with a free public performance at the Aloha Theatre at 2:30 p.m. Saturday October 11. Brian Weaver will direct this workshop, and will be assisted by members of the Aloha Teen Theatre. Theatre goers may remember Brian for his portrayal of Tommy in APAC's "Annie Get Your Gun" last season. In addition to being a performer, he is an educator, author, team coach, doctoral candidate, homemaker, and father of a nine year old son. Brian holds a Master's degree in education from the University of Denver and has considerable experience with gifted and talented learners.

August 5, 2008 – Quiksilver is pleased to announce the release of “Clay Marzo: Just Add Water,” an epic film that dives beneath the surface of one of the most gifted and creative surfers in the world, 19 year-old Clay Marzo. The film gives a never-before-seen look at Clay’s mind-blowing skills in the water and the challenges he faces on land as a result of Asperger’s Syndrome.
