Kid’s Winter Workshop

APAC's Winter Production Workshop for 8-12 year olds will be held December 27 and 28, and January 2,3,4, and 5, with a free public performance at the Aloha Theatre at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday January 5. Jerry Tracy will be the primary instructor, Jill Collier will be costume and prop designer, and teen assistants will be Sandra Burck and Jaquelynn Collier. This year's show will be "Tales of Hans Christian Andersen." The script features The Steadfast Tin Soldier, The Swineherd, The Ugly Duckling, and The Little Mermaid. The workshop will meet each day, 10 a.m. til 4 p.m. Morning sessions are at the loft, and afternoons at the Aloha Theatre. Tuition is $175 per student, and scholarships are available. Early dropoff may be offered for an additional fee, if there is sufficient demand. The workshop offers over thirty hours of instruction in the various aspects of production. Each student is guaranteed a role, and will also assist with technical preparations, such as costumes, props, and sets. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants.
