This years special guest performer is Kristi Toguchi
Kristi Toguchi is an infusion of MAGIC, DANCE, and CIRCUS ARTS! By combining an eclectic blend of performing arts, Kristi has created a unique style of entertainment that has been recognized throughout the world. Kristi’s talent has been recognized with awards from the Society of American Magicians and the International Brotherhood of Magicians. Kristi was also awarded the Lady Magician of the Century Award in Hong Kong and the Outstanding Showmanship Award in Japan.
Following in the steps of her father and grandfather, Tengu the Magician, Kristi continues the tradition of magic in her family as a 3rd generation magician. Surrounded by magic every second of her life, her love for the craft was inevitable. Simultaneous to her magic career she also pursued a career in dance and circus arts. By the time Kristi received her Bachelor’s of Arts, in Dance from the University of California, San Diego, she had also choreographed for the San Diego Opera, and performed professionally with the Fern Street Circus, and San Diego’s renowned choreographers.
Kristi Toguchi takes miracles and makes them dance. The music starts, she takes the audience by the hand, and before they realize it, amazing things are happening all around them. When Kristi's on stage, magic rocks. It swings. It even does the Samba. Her magic is designed to make your imagination her partner on stage. Kristi has been featured in national and international venues, performing for television broadcasts, corporate clients, and non-profit organizations.
