Aloha Performing Arts Company

Aloha Performing Arts Company will offer a free public Readers Theatre
presentation of Eve Ensler's controversial play "The Vagina Monologues" at
2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 18 at the Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu.

The staged reading features three local actresses: Jan Rae, Kestrel Bishop,
and Molly McGivern, all veterans of the Aloha stage. The powerful drama,
which is recommended for adults only, is based on actual interviews which
the playwright conducted with women of many different ages, ethnicities, and
walks of life.

Admission is free, and donations will be gratefully accepted to defray
