Just Give it a Bash

Ages: 55 and up

Just give it a Bash is a workshop for seniors on scene work.
We will read scenes from plays with one to be selected for a performance. Crafts To Learn will be about stage techniques, which includes getting into character, motivation, voice projection and clarity, posture and moving on the stage, and how to interject a little improvisation now and then.

Dramatic Imagination

Ages: 8 and up (Intergenerational class)

Dramatic Imagination is an intergenerational acting workshop, a place for all ages from 8 years old to 80. It is part improvisational and part learning a script to put on a short show of our own making. It involves learning control, confidence, speeding up the brain process, trust and developing a fully realized character.

Improv at the Aloha

Ages: Middle School and Up (Including Adults)

Improv at the Aloha is an improvisation class for middle school students and above. Improvisation helps you with auditions, performances, and is a lot of fun. You will learn to think quickly on your feet, become spontaneous and make exciting dramatic choices. Our presentation at the end of the session, will involve some audience participation.

Acting for Keiki

Cost: $10/Class 5 Classes
Times: Mondays 4:00-5:00pm ~ Nov 2nd - Nov 30

Ages: Kindergarten—1st Grade

Acting for Keiki is a place for those kids who really like to ham it up. Their artistic beings will be encouraged in this fun and exciting learning environment.

Have you ever wondered what goes on backstage or up in the booth? Then this is your chance. This hands on class will teach the basics of technical theatre, from backstage know how to operating sound and lights.

Ballroom Dancing is an fun way to get your body moving. The type of dance will be chosen based on the participants’ requests.

All Levels Dancing with Amma

Dancing with Amma will offer various dance moves and techniques in several different styles including, jazz, hip-hop, and Broadway.
