APAC OFFERS WINTER CHILDREN'S WORKSHOP

Please Call: 322-9924

Aloha Performing Arts Company will offer a seven day intensive production
workshop for children from ages 8 through 12 on December 19, 20, 21, 27, 28,
29, and 30, with a free public performance at the end of the final day at
the Aloha Theatre. The workshop will run from 10 a.m. til 4 p.m. each day,
with early dropoff offered for an additional charge. Morning instruction
will take place at APAC's loft in Kainaliu, and afternoon sessions will be
at the Aloha Theatre.

APAC artistic director Jerry Tracy will direct his original script "A Tale
of Three Ditties" which is a zany farce in the spirit of "Fractured Fairy
Tales." The play intertwines subplots from "The Three Bears," "The Three
Little Pigs," and "Three Blind Mice." Each participant is guaranteed a
role, and will also help with the technical preparations for the show,
including creating props, costumes, and sets. Each child must bring a lunch
daily, and APAC will provide an afternoon snack, a show tee shirt, a script,
and all other materials needed for the workshop. Tracy will be assisted by
Jill Rietow, Alex Moore, Elsa Bishop, BriAnna Johnson, Caitlynne Johnson,
and Sandra Burck.

The tuition for the regular 10-4 sessions is $165 per student, and early
bird dropoff, at 8:00 a.m., is offered for $195 per student. Enrollment is
limited to 20 participants. A waiting list will be taken also, in case of
no shows on the first morning. Those interested in signing a child up for
the workshop should call the APAC office at 322-9924.
